Contract IT Business Analyst (Ref: BOD/ITBA)


  • ŸHigher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related disciplines

  • ŸMinimum 4 years' hands-on experience in system implementation and project development. Prior experience in non-governmental organization (NGO), welfare or medical sector or implementing at least one large scale IT system will be an added advantage

  • ŸKnowledge of Service Management System / Human Resources Management System / Financial Management System / Business Intelligence Tools will be an added advantage

  • ŸKnowledge of vendor management and project management lifecycle and methodologies (e.g. PRINCE-2, PMP etc.) will be an added advantage

  • ŸExcellent negotiation, organizing, detail-minded and problem solving skills, disciplined with project scheduling

  • ŸGood team player with strong analytical with sound communication skills, able to work effectively with in house users, vendors and technical staff

  • Proficiency of system development, programming (e.g. .Net programming languages) and database technology (e.g. SQL query)

  • ŸResponsible, proactive, eager to learn


  • ŸParticipate in the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC) of the application development projects for multi-units of POH especially in the stages of feasibility studies of proposals, requirements collection & gap analysis, technical documentations, system architecture design, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, system roll-out and user training

  • ŸPreparation of tender documents and evaluation of vendor proposals

  • ŸWork closely with service providers and with end-users to implement new application systems and technology, and resolve issues in a timely manner

  • ŸKeep track of the project implementation progress and monitor the performance of the service providers

  • ŸMaintain and upkeep systems specification and related documentation libraries and user manuals for application systems

  • ŸPromote and facilitate the use of new technology in service units, e.g. Gerontechnology

  • ŸExcellent in Cantonese, Putonghua, English speaking and writing skills.  Excellent skills in business requirements analysis and business documentation writing
