Global Systems Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with account management team on client’s IT projects by supporting the creation of business requirement specifications and the development of customer systems solutions.

  • Act as interface between client and internal teams to collect client’s requirements, ensure client’s requirements are met and SLAs are followed.

  • Cover the IT aspects of specific projects such as supporting presentations, solution design, configuration, documentation for technical development, testing, implementation support up to go live.

  • Participate in pre-sales activities and client visits to identify client’s business / system solutions needs

  • Responsible for client’s specific IT setups, be accountable for all aspects from pre-sales, implementation and change management.

  • Use existing or, if needed, support the creation of client’s specific SLAs to ensure alignment between internal / external client expectations and the support & maintenance delivered through the IT support and maintenance department

  • Identify needs, develop & deliver training, tools & support material for IT solutions that enable supply chain value creation for the client

  • Recommend and participate in continuous improvement projects related to customer applications in Panalpina

  • Analyze client’s IT requirements, recommend, project manage the development of IT solutions in collaboration with internal IT teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or above qualification in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent

  • With 10 years’ relevant working experience including minimum 5 years’ professional experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain management industry.

  • With broad knowledge in freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain solutions (processes, products & IT solutions)

  • Demonstrated competency in process & system design & delivery, needs assessment, process improvement, project management of customer facing IT solutions & business logic

  • Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements in terms of information flow, transportation, warehousing & logistics

  • Adequate sales process experience

  • Be able to work in a diverse environment and cultures

  • Able to influence and convince others in a way that results in acceptance and agreement

  • Strong communication in English

  • Knowledge in EDI (EDIFACT,X12, etc.) is a plus

Regional IT Analyst Programmer Asia Pacific


  • Support in formulating and defineingsystem scope and objectives based on user customer needs through research and fact finding

  • Develop or modify moderately complex systems with guidance

  • Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written

  • Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary

  • Provide technical support and creating installation instructions for users


  • University graduate in Information Technology or related discipline

  • 2-3 years experience in web or application development

  • EDI experience is a plus

Regional CFS Operation Key Account Manager Asia Pacific

Position Summary:

  • Manage and develop the assigned key accounts within the region to meet the objective of service delivery account retention and gross profit/volume growth with focus on the container freight station (CFS) part of the business;

  • Drive key accounts from implementation, optimization to steady state, taking into account commercial and operational perspective.


  • Drive and manage the CFS quality, performance and service delivery of assigned key accounts;

  • Lead the process standardization and optimization to improve performance and minimize customer specific processes;

  • Secure retention of assigned key accounts, identify up and on selling opportunities and monetize value added services;

  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline;

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the manager to prepare the financial reports

  • Assist to analyze financial information

Job Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Run open balance reports, follow up with customers for payment collection and monitor the ageing of accounts receivables

  • Contact customers for payment collection via email / fax / phone call and follow up outstanding payment with operations

  • Update SAP on payment status

  • Ensure on-time and accurate billing to customers including soft & hard copies of invoice, HAWB and bill of lading, etc.

  • Perform any ac hoc duties assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements:

  • F.5 / DSE or above, Diploma graduate in business / account related fields is preferable

  • 1 year of experience in accounting or payment collection and familiar with SAP accounting software is an advantage, fresh or recent graduates are also welcome

  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese, Mandarin & English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, Outlook & Power point etc)

Country Assistant Tender Manager Greater China

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, drive and manage bid process with all stakeholders required to retain existing and win new businesses

  • Analyze customers bid requirements in detail and prepare overview for product and procurement teams

  • Validate requirements and details with bid owner and/or customer

  • Consolidate and validate Air and Ocean rate and service inputs received from different teams

  • Simulate and calculate rate scenarios for Value Added Services (VAS)

  • Calculate and prepare final customer selling rate and solution submission files covering all service requirements

  • Analyze volumne and shipment structure and respective P&L data for existing business

  • Calculate and analyze impact of NFR/GP by different margin settings

  • Handle customers' inquiries, complaints, claims follow up, verify credit terms and credit status, and coordinate with departments concerned on related issues
