Assistant Project Manager / Senior System Engineer (Back End)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate and lead small team in handling full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including but not limited to requirement gathering, design, development, testing, system release and post launch maintenance of back end systems

  • Process, handle and integrate vast amount of data from various sources for calculation, settlement, and reconciliation

  • Ensure on-time and quality delivery and comply with Quality Management System

  • Prepare documentations such as functional specification, technical specification and test plan

  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in information systems design and development

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills, and self-motivated

  • Hands-on experience in development using Java and SQL

  • Familiar with Linux environment

  • Knowledge and experience in Spring and web services, Oracle database, and MySQL would be an advantage

  • Experience in preparing high quality technical documents

  • Client facing project experience would be an advantage

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior System Engineer position

Senior Operations Supervisor (Card Centre)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise autopay team to process AAVS applications, payments and customer correspondence.

  • Liaise with financial institutions for irregular AAVS cases.

  • Perform tracking and monitoring on irregular account activities.

  • Supervise headquarter refund processing.

  • Monitor outsourcing service provider performance.

  • Ensure established working procedures, production/quality standards, security and statutory requirements are carried out.

  • Prepare data for regular management reporting, ad-hoc reports and projects.

  • Review and streamline production workflows to achieve operation efficiency and control.

  • Ensure the team to follow the Key Performance Indicator and service standard.

  • Backup for Operations Supervisor for Card Centre Team and other Operations sections when required.

  • Occasionally work in the location other than office premises for project support, e.g. Card initialisation, card printing, card issuance and card packaging, etc. for different types of Octopus cards and products.

  • Ensure the process and task carried out by the team complies with audit and compliance requirements

  • Implement all comments and responses to Audit/ Risk reports as per target completion date

  • Provide with comprehensive user requirements; perform UAT thoroughly; prepare documentation properly with clear segregation of duties for all enhancements and new products and systems.

Requirements:

  • HKDSE (5 subjects with level 3 or above including English, Chinese and Maths) or equivalent

  • More than 9 years in banking/ operation and transaction processing, of which at least 3 years at a supervisory position

  • Good customer service awareness and strong interpersonal skills

  • Possess logical and good analytical skills

  • Strong leadership skill to lead the team to achieve Key Performance Indicators

  • Effective influencing, planning, organising, logical and analytical skills are essential

  • Good numerical sense and able to work under pressure

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Familiar with MS Office applications

Temporary Operations Assistant (Card Centre)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handling personalization process including data input, data verification and photo scanning for production of Personalised Octopus using Personalisation Equipment.

  • Preparing Personalized Octopus application form for data processing.

  • Printing Special Octopus using Personalisation Equipment.

  • Arranging Special Octopus printing with printing contractors.

  • Handling internal enquiries on card orders

  • Providing general clerical and administrative support as instructed by supervisor and manager

  • Ensuring the delivery of service and work adhere to KPI and service standard

  • Working in locations other than office premises in Card Centre or headquarter for project support when required

Requirements:

  • HKCEE/HKDSE with 5 subjects passed (Grade E/Level 2) including English, Chinese and Mathematics

  • Minimum 1 year clerical working experience

  • Knowledge of system enhancement requirement analysis and testing cases preparation is preferred

  • Familiar with MS Office applications

  • Accurate and fast English and Chinese typing speed not less than 35 wpm

  • Good numerical sense

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service awareness

  • Possess logical and analytical skills

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
