Manager, Consumer Insights (Qualitative)
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provide operational support to the Research Director on a vast array of activities such as proposal preparation, questionnaire development, fieldwork management and data quality, as well as to help formulate and prepare client reports.
Assist in project management to ensure research projects are managed effectively and efficiently.
Assist in client servicing to ensure day-to-day project tasks are executed in an accurate and timely manner.
Actively participate in data analysis and insight generation to provide high quality and actionable solutions for our client work across different industries such as Banking and Finance, Public Enterprises, Luxury, hospitality, apparel, sports, property and Tech & Telco.
Manage a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts, developing your teambuilding skills.
Participate in learning and development forums to help upskill your own knowledge so that you can interface with clients to explore their needs and propose the newest and most relevant solutions.
University graduate in any faculties. Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent preferred.
Two years or more research working experience will be preferred.
Strong client services and communication skills and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
A strategic thinker looking to put together data and research findings with business and marketing strategy
Strong coordination and time management skills
Proactive and striving for excellence, who can work independently and within a team
Good command of oral and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.
Manager, Consumer Insights
Assist in managing a research team to ensure all research activities can be carried out in a timely and efficient manner
Provide all-round project design skills in design, supervision and delivery of client projects to ensure meaningful and actionable findings would be generated from projects
Direct all procedures in the departments to ensure the research studies can be managed accurately and efficiently
Maintain close relationship with clients to build client’s trust and loyalty and to help them grow by gaining insightful information on the market and customers
Assist senior members in building and winning the business
Prepare winning proposals with competitive fee estimation
Actively participate in data analysis and insight generation to provide high quality and actionable solutions for our clients
Prepare and design reports and provide strategic conclusion and recommendations
Deliver client presentations in a professional manner
University graduate or above with minimum 5 years of agency-based market research or related experience
Good track record working with major clients
Proactive and innovative in building strong partnerships with clients and supporting their business strategies
Excellent influencing and people management skills
Expert knowledge of statistics and multivariable analysis would have an advantage but not a prerequisite
Expert knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
Strong coordination and time management skills
Proficient in verbal and written English
Specialist, System and Production
Provide administration support for the production software and systems within the organization
Perform system updates and backup to ensure stable production environment
Collaborate testing, setup and configuration of new products and system
Executes the processes of data production and associated project work
Act as touch point on production deliverables and complete investigation into data challenges
Drive productivity to achieve optimal cost management and propose application, process & functional improvements that will facilitate both increased efficiency and improved standards adherence
1-3 years working experience in a related field, preferably with knowledge and experience of system administration, network support, database management.
Project management skills and tools
Flexibility, willing to learn and positive working attitude

Excellent knowledge of IT technologies, ability to manage networks and hardware issues

Senior Analyst - Retail
Provide analytical solutions and consumer insights through hands on data-mining to clients’ business needs
Assist in developing and promote best practice analytic solutions through the application and integration of customer loyalty
Maintain up to date knowledge on industry trends, software solutions and methods to ensure Nielsen loyalty provide the best client solutions and thinking available
Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the company's quality standards
2-3 years working experiences with focus in Loyalty/ CRM program, experience in database management and in the retail industry is preferable
Less experience will be considered as Analyst.
University graduate in Statistics/ Business/ Marketing/ Economic/ Social Science or equivalent
Strong capability in statistical and business analysis
Knowledge of applications such as SPSS, R, SAS or similar analytic software is a must
Good computer knowledge, especially on MS Excel and PowerPoint
Detail minded, proactive, willing to face challenge, good interpersonal skill
Outgoing, positive, good time management, able to work independently and under pressure
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
