Senior Sales Manager - Corporate

Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate sales activities and events align with hotel’s Sales & Marketing plan including prequalifying corporate accounts, opening accounts and finalizing proposals

  • Manage and monitor all rate proposal of the corporate segment

  • Maintain and expand market share and strive for the best possible RevPAR

  • Ensure a smooth operation in the corporate section of the Sales Team

  • Assist all the sales strategy, tactics, and action implementations, in order to create a strong and disciplined sales team, and to achieve the sales goal

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related disciplines

  • With a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Hotel Corporate Sales and / or Rooms operations is a must

  • Hotel exposure in similar scale and locality is a definite advantage

  • Proactive, goal-driven and able to realise sales opportunities

  • Good command of related sales automated system including Opera

  • Well versed in spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Sales Manager - Corporate 

Accounts Payable Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all payments are well supported with proper approval procedures

  • Prepare standard journal voucher for month end closing

  • Prepare account analysis and schedule for Accountant

  • Handle bank reconciliation statement and carry out investigation on irregularities

  • Carry out regular monitoring on accounts aging payable to avoid late payment

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in Accounting or related disciplines with LCC higher level

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in Hospitality / Catering industry

  • Well versed in written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Computer literacy on SUN, SCM and Microsoft Office

Front Office Management Trainee

Program Outline:

The Front Office Management Trainee at Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong is an 12-month fast-track program for your career development with cross-training at the front office department among our 3 contemporary hotels in Hong Kong. You will assist in managing the daily front office operations and supplemented with additional opportunities eg. act as brand ambassador to participate in all guest experience enhancement project and identify the new market trend to align hotel standard to current market.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree from Hotel/ Business School

  • Previous Internship/ Working Experience in Front Office is a definite advantage

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills at and customer oriented

  • Good command in both written and spoken English, Knowledge of any other languages, would be desirable

Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Handle administrative work to maintain daily operations of Human Resources Department

  • Coordinate recreational and sports activities and organize different associate communication meetings

  • Take care of associate facilities and update notice board and canteen menu

Requirements:

  • University graduate with Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management

  • Relevant working experience in Hotel is preferred

  • Able to handle multiple tasks and ad-hoc projects

  • Proficiency in computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Sommelier 品酒師

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the master wine list and providing recommendations and advise about wine and other beverages to fitting the outlet concept and clientele

  • Advise guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices

  • Organize wine tasting, wine pairing promotion and service enhancement events

  • Responsible & ensure the wine service standard, hygiene and cleanliness are as according to the hotel standard requirement

  • To provide excellent service to customers

Requirements:

  • Proactive, passionate, good communication and active selling skills

  • Minimum 3 years experience in restaurant or wine industry

  • WSET is highly preferred

  • Solid and strong wine knowledge is a MUST

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English 

  • Less experience maybe considered as Assistant Sommelier
