Technical Lead (Development) (EI)

You will:

  • Be a technology leader in the team helping address key technology problems and challenges from technology selection to scalability, availability and performance problem resolution, in addition to build functionality based on requirement specifications & high level architecture design from architects.

  • Conduct system design review and software & code inspection to ascertain conformation to best design and coding practices on system deliverables

  • Identify potential areas regarding software application development where existing policies and procedures are required to change, or when new approaches need to be developed.

  • While reporting to development manager, they will also work with project manager, solution architects and business users during the analysis, definition and development phases. You will write and develop Systems Requirement Spec (SRS) and System Design Spec (SDD) according to business requirements.

  • Perform 2nd line support for production systems

You should have:

  • At least 5 years IT experience with strong technical acumen for detailed design and development, with solid real world software development experience

  • Working experience leading developers using a variety of development methods (waterfall, agile, etc.).

  • University degree or above in Computer science or Engineering or equivalent.

  • Strong software development experience on the following:

    • Microsoft Windows IoT, Visual Studio 2017, ,NET Core, .NET 4.6+, C#, JavaScript, SignalR, Node.js, React.js WebSockets, JSON, AutoMapper, Hangfire, FluentValidation, LanguageExt, Newtonsoft.Json, SeriLog, Polly, SimleInjector, NetTime, SQL Server, SQL Server Express, HTML5

  • Knowledge and skills in the following would be an advantage:

    • GIT, Jenkins, API management products like WS02, SonarQube, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, Ansible, IBM Urban Code Deploy, and Serena Dimensions RM

  • Knowledge in the following display technologies would be a strong advantage:

    • VLC Player and related C interfaces, multicast RPT/RTCP, SDI, or similar protocols, Video/Audio encoding/decoding technologies and equipment.

Engineer (Database Engineering)

You will:

  • Setup, maintain and troubleshoot the overall production and non-production database environment

  • Monitor usage and performance of the database infrastructure

  • Ensure database infrastructure is setup timely for all environments within SP3d

You should have:

  • Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline

  • 8+ years of solid experience in database administration/ engineering, ideally working in Technical Support or Infrastructure Team

  • Strong SQL, troubleshooting and tuning skills in Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server or others

  • Exposure to large scale OLTP database development projects will be an advantage

  • Good knowledge of LINUX and relational modelling skill is preferable

  • Working knowledge of Windows, SAN, Enterprise monitoring/scheduling tools, Clusters, Virtualization and middleware

  • Working knowledge of various programming languages especially shell scripting, Java, C, C++, XML, XLST, XSD

Senior Customer Services Officer

You will

  • identify service gaps, initiate and implement service improvement and optimization initiatives and ensure quality of service delivery

  • work to achieve performance and service targets

  • manage and control staff rosters according to budget and company policies

  • recruit and train part-time team on seasonal basis, supervise and coach them on-job

  • collaborate with different teams and departments to implement marketing programs in racecourses

  • ensure smooth operation in new segment venues and public admission areas

  • manage and be responsible for assigned tasks

You should have

  • a university degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in service industry or in large scale event management with part time team management experience

  • be well organized with strong interpersonal and team spirit

  • acute service sense with solid complaint handling experience

  • be sensible, logical, and react fast to ad hoc situations

  • proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and being able to do Chinese Word Processing

  • excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin

  • be required to work in racecourses at all race meetings including weekends, public holidays, and night time

  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Customer Services Officer

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
