Assistant Manager, Sports & Recreation – Beas River Country Club

You will:

  • assist the Sports and Leisure Manager in leading a team of sports and recreation staff to plan and implement innovative sports and recreation programmes / services in Beas River Country Club

  • oversee the daily operation including staff rostering and training, daily administration and budget control

  • interact and develop excellent Member relations

  • involve in the projects planning and management of the recreation facilities

You should have:

  • a degree in Sports and Recreation Management.

  • a minimum of 3 years working experience at supervisory level in the sports and recreation field

  • high level of creativity to conceptualise and implement new programmes / services

  • strong awareness and anticipation of market trends.

  • good leadership and excellent interpersonal skills; strong initiatives to interact with members

  • good communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese

Assistant Finance Manager

You will:

  • Provide value-added analysis and recommendations to support business decisions

  • Review monthly financial statements to ensure company's financial status is accurately reflected

  • Monitor financial performances and variance drivers to make recommendations for improvements

  • Work closely with stakeholders on annual budget and monthly forecast

  • Review and project cash flow position periodically

  • Liaise and coordinate with external auditors to prepare the annual audited financial statement

  • Respond to tax queries and liaise with tax bureau

  • Conduct contract review to ensure compliance with internal policies and to protect the best interests of the Club

  • Support ad-hoc assignment

You should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance or related field with recognised accounting qualification

  • At least 5 years of solid experience in management accounting and / or financial analysis in a medium to large sized organisation, PRC exposure is a plus

  • Strong analytical, inter-personal and communication skills

  • Ability to build rapport with internal customers

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Good computer literacy in using Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Assistant Restaurant Manager (Western) – Beas River Country Club

You will:

  • assist the Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the western restaurant in our Beas River Country Club including staff rostering, training, budget control and daily administration

  • provide the highest standard of personalised service to our Members including making recommendations on food and wine, responding to Members' requests, comments and suggestions

  • work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef on food promotions and menu planning

  • create new ideas and recommend changes to constantly improve our service standards 

You should have:

  • a Diploma in Hotel Management.

  • a minimum of 3 years experience in similar capacity in prestigious hotels or members' clubs

  • strong awareness and anticipation of market trends

  • excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with strong initiatives to interact with customers and staff

  • good communication skills in both English and Chinese

Betting Systems Implementation Assistant (2-year contract)

You will:

  • conduct user acceptance tests to validate the enhancements are incorporated according to user requirement and ensure the fit for business operations

  • assist the team to perform administrative and clerical duties, such as report compiling, information checking, etc.

 You should have:

  • tertiary education or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines

  • interest and familiarity with iPhone/iPad, Android devices and mobile apps and good computer knowledge in Word and Excel, experience in SQL Server coding is an advantage

  • proactive and customer oriented with enthusiasm in horse racing, football and lottery

  • effective interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese

Part-time Membership Service Assistant II (Happy Valley Clubhouse Hotline Team) (Hourly Pay: $73.5/hour)

Job Duties:

  • Provide quality services to our Members via phone in our Hotline Team

  • Handle clubhouse facilities reservations for Members

  • Answer Members’ enquiries on membership matters

  • Provide outbound calls for products selling

Requirements:

  • Form6 or above

  • A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in call centre preferred

  • Fluent in spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin

  • Hands-on experience in Windows applications

Work Hours:

The Call Center operates 7 days a week with working hours from 09:00 to 18:00.  Staffs are required to work at least 2 weekdays plus a weekend duty.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Happy Valley Clubhouse, 25 Shan Kwong Road

Terms of Employment:

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
