We are looking for aspiring individuals to join our dynamic team to fill the following position:

Senior Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities:  

  • Handle daily accounting functions in AR, AP & GL;

  • Perform data entry and filing;

  • Maintain registers including Invoice, Purchase Request and Freelancer Application;

  • Prepare bank reconciliation and current accounts reconciliation in month-end;

  • Handle and verify petty cash claims;

  • Perform outdoor delivery duty and bank-in & related issues;

  • Assist the Administration team to provide daily administration services; and

  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or management from time to time

Requirements:

  • LCCI Higher Level / Diploma Holder in accounting or equivalent;

  • Minimum 2 years’ working experience in accounting field is an advantage;

  • Proficient PC skills such as Excel and hands-on experience in Flex accounting software is an advantage;

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

  • Initiative, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;

  • Required to work overtime and at irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during peak seasons; and

  • Immediate available is highly preferred

Assistant Operations and Subtitle Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor all technical and screening matters for year-round film programmes, annual film festival, and other ancillary film programmes including but not limited to:

  • arrangements for censorship and co-ordination with OFNAA;

  • manage and carry out film / video checking;

  • manage simple video editing, conversion and coordination of feature, trailers, slides and other screening related materials production;

  • liaise with screening venues and production houses;

  • co-ordinate and carry subtitle production and provide onsite support for subtitle projection at the screening venues where necessary;

  • monitor the projection and provide onsite support at screening venues;

  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or management from time to time

Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent;

  • Good communication skills;

  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience;

  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;

  • Proficient in foreign languages (Japanese, Korean, German, French, Italian, Spanish etc.) will be an advantage;

  • Proficient in AI / Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / easyDCP Player / EZtitle;

  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); Knowledge of film format and video / film checking will be an advantage;

  • Knowledge of film subtitle production will be an advantage; Experience in technical coordination and working in film festival / film industry / production houses will be an advantage; and

  • Require to work overtime and at irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain peak periods.

Officer, HAF

Responsibilities:

  • To assist Manager, the Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), on the general management of the HAF in all aspects including but not limited to:

Publication

  • Source vendors and editors to design, compile and print the publication

  • Coordinate with and supervise editors and printing house to compile the publication

  • Liaise with advisors, filmmakers, partners, and industry players to prepare for the publication

  • Proofread the materials to ensure the information of the publication is accurate

  • Prepare the production, printing and delivery timelines and ensure a smooth workflow

Marketing and Event

  • To draft, prepare and design marketing and promotional items such as EDMs, leaflets, factsheets, etc.

  • To monitor various social media platforms and update the information for the team if and when necessary

  • To liaise with service provider on event floor plan, wall panels design and construction, and technical support

  • To liaise with HAF filmmakers and partners on the arrangement of presentation sessions, luncheons, seminars, and awards ceremony, etc.

  • To conduct event planning and budget planning and control

  • To maintain a professional and updated HAF database for promotional purpose

Project submission and guest registration systems

  • To coordinate with vendors to update the existing online project submission system and guest registration system

  • To assist in the project vetting procedures including preparation and filing of film project submissions, sending submission materials to the vetting committee for vetting

  • To ensure a smooth protocol & business-matching arrangements of HAF guests

  • To invite and liaise with HAF filmmakers, advisors, potential investors and financiers regarding HAF events from time to time;

  • To assist in developing and maintaining international partnerships for the HAF;

  • To conduct research, prepare usable and accurate reports and analyses to management from time to time;

  • To handle all necessary administrative documentation required by the Society; and

  • To perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or management of the Society.

Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience

  • Experience with film industry is an advantage

  • Excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua, knowledge of other languages will be an advantage

  • Proficiency of PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent command of design softwares such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Good knowledge of editing softwares such as Final Cut Pro and Premiere is an advantage

  • Good knowledge of the international film industry, in particular Asia, and good acquaintance with film industry professionals is an advantage

  • Ability to work under pressure, independently, proactively and to meet deadlines

  • Required to work overtime and at irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during peak season
