MERCHANDISER

Job Description

Currently, we are looking for a Merchandiser for G Givenchy. G Givenchy is contemporary menswear line of Givenchy, designed, developed and distributed in Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

To assist in Collection Planning

  • Maintain competitor pricing benchmark

  • Maintain PLM, style and sketches overview

  • Item creation and maintaining in SAP

  • Assist Merchandising Manager to prepare various sales reports for product meetings and prepare presentations for Selling Campaign

  • Define the pricing strategy and costing control of the products to achieve target margin

  • Review sell in and sell out performance and coordinate with Commercial Team to get updated product feedback and implement to the collection

To assist in seasonal buy for Retail Stores

  • Prepare Pre Buy analysis (Sell-Through, Sizing, SKU by sub-class reports for buying reference

  • Manage OTB and responsible for the seasonal Buy

  • Prepare Post Buy analysis and reports (Buying summary by Category vs OTB, style overview

  • Daily communicate with stores for getting product feedback

  • Provide product training to Retail Stores.

  • Conduct market visit to understand the customers’ needs in China market

To assist weekly sales performance analysis and stock allocation & replenishment for Retail Stores

  • Prepare weekly Sell-Through reports

  • Prepare weekly available stock reports for new arrivals allocation and replenishment

  • Prepare stores sales vs stock report for stock consolidation

  • Follow up with Warehouse and logistic team for stock movement

Requirement:

  • Degree holder in Business Management, Fashion or related discipline

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in retail industry, experience in luxury retail will be an advantage

  • Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to detect inconsistencies in data

  • Strong numerical sense, curious, willing to develop and solution-oriented

  • Good communications and interpersonal skill

  • Highly organized and the ability to prioritize team work schedule based on broader business requirements

  • Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin

  • Computer proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, knowledge of SAP will be an advantage

  • Immediate available is highly preferred
