Retail Area Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen retail operational efficiency
  • Enhance the quality of retail sales and operations of our chain
  • Train and coach the retail team to provide excellent customer service by exceeding the expectation of the customers and building strong rapport with customers
  • Ensure efficient and effective communication between retail team, food production team and management team
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Retail Management / Hospitality Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with 3 years at supervisory level in retail operations from FMCG or hospitality industry. Experience in French café or Western food & beverage retail chain is preferred
  • Hands-on experience in building strong retail team is an added advantage
  • Passionate in pastry, coffee, chocolate and confectionary
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, independent, meticulous and analytical
  • Strong interpersonal, people management and problem solving skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

Shop Supervisor (French Pastry Shop)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Boutique Manager for all staff and operational issues as well as boost up the sales
  • Introduce French pastry, chocolates, macarons and beverages to customers
  • Motivate and monitor the team to provide excellent service to our customers and to achieve company’s sales targets
  • Manage the performance of all frontline staff
  • Maintain smooth daily shop operations by keeping a properly maintained store with optimal inventory level
  • Stock inventory check and replenishment
  • Handle customer’s enquiries, feedback and complaints
  • Maintain highest standard of brand image
  • Handle any ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience with 3 years in supervisory level, preferably from high-end cafés or cake shops or luxury hotels
  • Presentable, pleasant, self-motivated and customer-oriented
  • Passionate in French pastry and food culture
  • Strong leadership skills and communication skills
  • Good command of both Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English

Senior Shop Assistant / Shop Assistant (French Pastry Shop)

Requirements:

  • Form 5 or above
  • Minimum 1 year’s retail experience, preferably in cake shops
  • Presentable, pleasant and customer focused individuals who are also self motivated
  • Good command of Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English
  • Applicants with more experience will be considered for the position of Senior Retail Service Ambassador.

Senior Barista / Barista

Responsibilities:

  • Present and promote the retail products and coffee collection to customers
  • Prepare and serve high quality retail products, coffee and other beverages
  • Design coffee promotion plans
  • Launch internal coffee training
  • Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the bar area
  • Ensure adequate stock level of beverages and utensils for smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Form 5 or above with related Barista vocational training certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience at upscale coffee shops or restaurants, experience in luxury hotels is a plus
  • Presentable, customer service-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, good team player and detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility
  • Excellent guest interaction skills
  • Good command of spoken English and Chinese

Applicants with more experience will be considered for the position of Senior Barista
(Part-time applications will also be considered)

Operations Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full range of support on day-to-day operations to maximize the operation efficiency, and to maintain exceptional customer service standard of DALLOYAU
  • Review operations policies and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations for improving automation efficiency
  • Cooperate with various departments to maintain a high standard of retail environment in terms of logistics arrangement, maintenance, shop display and IT technical matters
  • Consolidate operational expenses in terms of payment, goods & coupon requisitions
  • Coordinate in shop expansion and renovations projects to ensure smooth outlet openings
  • Provide support in logistics and materials arrangement
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments when necessary 

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Hospitality Management or Business Administration or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in retail operations support
  • Experience in new retail / café opening projects or system automation projects in retail , F&B or FMCG industry is an advantage
  • Strong in problem solving & time management
  • Proactive, organized with strong business acumen
  • Familiar with Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

Pastry Sous Chef – Native Japanese Speaker

The incumbent will assist the Pastry Head Chef in managing day-to-day pastry production and pastry creation at the food factory.

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or with equivalent vocational training certificate. Certificate in recognized food handling / sanitation institution is highly preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in French pastry production in France or Japan
  • Experience in new shop / new café opening is an advantage
  • Language proficiency in English is a MUST. Native Japanese would be preferred
  • Passionate and with sound knowledge in French pastry, bakery and dessert
  • Well-versed in kitchen hygiene, creative and service-oriented
  • A good team player with good communication and supervisory skills

 (Candidates with less experience would be considered as Pastry Junior Sous Chef)
