Investment Specialist, Wealth Management

  • Give advice on portfolio issues and meet clients on  a regular basis.

  • Recommend tailor-made, individually-optimized, investment portfolio for clients

  • Provide training to internal staff on portfolio-related matters

VP, In-Business Control, Citi Commercial Bank

  • Possess adequate knowledge of the responsibilities of an in-business control function, supported by a thorough understanding of Commercial Bank’s operating environment.   Hands-on experiences on items like Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA), Business Recovery Plan, local procedures drafting, etc. would be an advantage.

  • Maintain oversight over emerging and existing key risks, controls, corrective actions and enhancement initiatives on an end-to-end basis

  • Assist in the implementation of global, regional and country risk and control policy requirements and processes including the reinforcement, enhancement, rationalization, and streamlining of such processes, and the strengthening of the overall risk and control environment. Liaising with partners such as Compliance, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management on standards & regulatory interpretation

  • Help to promote a strong culture of risk and control awareness and compliance with policies and requirements in the Commercial Bank

  • Partner, coordinate and interact with other Control units  such as Second Level Control functions like Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk Management (ORM), Country Legal, Country Compliance, and Country Finance, and Internal Audit on Commercial related risk and control activities

  • Assist initiatives for providing training and raising awareness on risks and controls

  • Support IBC Head of CCB Hong Kong, and work with in-country Business and Function Heads as well as Regional CCB IBC Head to identify, dimension, prioritize, and report key risks, and implement robust controls

  • Assist in root cause analysis for material risk events and control breaks including an effective feedback loop to local and regional management. Supporting CCB Business Heads with the design, implementation, and validation of control issues and their associated Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in line with the Asia Regional CAP Directive

  • Evaluate, assess and validate controls through processes and tools including MCA, Key Risk Control Indicators (KRCIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other related processes

  • Report MCA results/KRCI Scorecard to country and regional CCB management

  • Possess proficient knowledge of AML / KYC down to operational level, in the context of CCB’s clientele under the Hong Kong regulatory environment

  • Coordinate with Sales Heads and Relationship Managers, and lead the fellow team members (as and when required), to supervise the AML/KYC process; so as to ensure CCB Hong Kong’s monthly CADDs are renewed timely.  Coordinate with BSU to minimize expired CADDs

  • Ensure that all AML alerts are disambiguated by relationship managers within defined timelines

  • Participate, and lead when necessary, post-implementation tasks such as UAT, training etc. of CitiKYC, as and when required

  • Track, monitor and report CCB related issues and their associated CAPs and promptly escalating CAPs that are at risk of missing their target dates

  • Help to monitor outsourced functions: Oversight of service providers, including conducting of annual due diligence reviews

AVP, International Personal Banking

  • Recommend and execute business initiatives from an end-to-end basis to achieve business goals, including portfolio management, driving inflow of Net New Money, fostering investment & insurance penetration, etc.

  • Actively monitor and analyze the IPB business portfolio, regularly provide insight to management and stakeholders. Proactively initiate actions to address any issues and opportunities identified.

  • Good understanding of customer behavior of offshore banking segment (especially those from Mainland China, Taiwan, and Singapore)

  • Being the business champion to coordinate with different teams (Product teams, Sales teams, Decision Management, Operations, Compliance, etc.) to drive delivery of the right product solutions and client experience for IPB clients

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and enhance IPB value proposition (including establishing new marketing communications channel and client loyalty programs)

  • Interact with Global Office and other offshore banking centers to drive synergy within Citi

  • University degree holder in Business Administration or related discipline

  • A minimum work experience of 5 years in banking or financial industry, preferably in Offshore Banking/ Affluent Segment Management, and/or Product Marketing

Mutual Fund Product Manager, Wealth Management

  • Support the team in the execution of the investment product business and product strategies through the coordination of whole-sales activities (e.g. branch roadshow, professional training programs) and provide the prompt after-sales support to frontline

  • Participate in various digital and infrastructure system projects

  • Assist to manage over 30 mutual fund providers and maintain good business relationship

  • Assist to build new investment product platform (product offering categories & services) and launch investment products

  • Maintain products on the shelf throughout their life-cycle

  • Liaise with regional product team and product providers in performing product due diligence, follow through on product set up and launch through sales channel

  • Work with various internal departments on preparing agreements, product documentation as well as product set up and maintenance

  • Work with research teams in the delivery of products and services

  • Update product  information for sales team

  • Assist to conduct on-going product training to support product launch.

  • Facilitate the compliance on regulatory requirements & internal guideline in relation to mutual fund business

  • Degree holder, preferably in economics or finance

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience. Candidate with more experience would be considered to a senior role

  • HKSI LE Papers 1, 7 & 8 or equivalent is preferred

  • Sound knowledge in investment products preferably on mutual funds  Experience on compiling product program is an advantage

  • Good interpersonal skills and presentation skills. To be able to deal with people at all levels

Insurance Specialist, Insurance

  • To work with relationship managers in total client relationship building and financial planning propositions

  • To serve clients in complete scope of insurance products, namely general insurance, whole life savings plans, universal life, endowment plans and retirement planning

  • To lead and support the branch sales staff to achieve the insurance goal

  • Degree holder with at least two years of insurance product sales experience with proven track record

  • HKSI Paper 1, 7 & 8 or equivalent plus IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5

  • Proactive and result-oriented with strong selling skills
