Training Manager, Learning & Development

Responsibilities:

  • Design training programs and update materials with the bank’s current policies and procedures related to either investment or retail operation

  • Deliver training programs either on investment or banking operations to the Bank’s new joined staff

  • Develop training roadmap in accordance with HKIB’s Enhanced Competency Framework and with the Bank’s Retail Business direction and people agenda

  • Assist in managing the Bank’s Trainee Programs

  • Develop and manage relationship with key stakeholders from different Divisions so as to understand and analyze training needs

  • Participate in ad hoc projects related to people, culture, technology-based learning and compliance issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in any discipline, preferably Information-Technology with CFP / CFMP qualification 

  • 5 years relevant experience in banking industry, focusing on either sales or branch operation, with a passion for a further career development in learning and development field.

  • Good knowledge in either banking products or operations.

  • Strong planning and organizing skills plus effective presentation skills

  • Self-learner with curiosity to try new things and with flexibility to take up new initiatives

Compensation and Benefit Manager (Compensation focused)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and review HR policies and procedures, and ensure all initiatives are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and execute the implementation of annual projects such as annual salary review and bonus exercise, performance appraisal, annual remuneration system review, group insurance plans, etc.

  • Compile compensation and benefits data for market surveys, analyse results and conduct pay positioning analysis to ensure market competitiveness of remuneration package.

  • Coordinate the daily administrations related to compensation and benefits policies, such as medical check-up, staff housing loan enquiries, etc.

  • Perform project planning, implementation and analysis in relation to compensation and benefits related projects / initiatives.

  • Conduct job evaluation.

Requirements:

  • University degree with min.5 years’ working experience in human resources, specialising in compensation and benefits.

  • Well-versed with HK Employment Ordinance and related regulations.

  • Good analytical, organization and people skills.

  • Good project management skills.

  • A good team player, mature, initiative and independent.

  • Good command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience in IPL is preferred. 

Manager, Business Administration - Strategic Planning & Corporate Development (Ref no.: M/SPCD/JDB)

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, prepare materials and minutes for the Bank’s management meetings.  Follow up the implementation of meeting resolutions

  • Prepare written materials of the Bank, including but not limited to quarterly report, research report, speech and promotional materials

  • Prepare regular reports to Head Office and other institutions

  • Responsible for the management of Executive Office mailbox and OA system

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, strong capability to write in official document style is a must

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Proficiency in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PPT

Vice President / Assistant Vice President, Manpower & HR Advisory

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide resourcing and value-added HR generalist services and advisory to designated business unit(s) on manpower planning, recruitment and selection, employee relations, staff retention and performance management.

  • Ensure deliverables are in compliance with legal and regulatory and ethical standards, of the required quality, in adherence to the Bank’s corporate values, risk management policies and service standards.

  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of manpower and HR strategies to support the business strategies of business unit(s).

  • Act as the business partner of business unit(s) to offer advice and solutions on HR related matters.

  • Execute and communicate to business unit(s) various bank-wide HR programs and policies in support of the Bank strategies and business needs.

  • Ensure recruitment is effective in identifying good quality candidates with required competencies and ethical standards in performing their daily duties.

  • Assist the team head to offer advice to business unit(s) on implementing organizational designs to maximise organizational effectiveness in support of business strategies.

  • Monitor staff expenses and budgets of business unit(s) against the pre-determined plan.

  • Perform any duties as assigned by Team Head.

Requirements:

  • Ensure the team’s deliverables are in compliance with legal and regulatory and ethical standards, of the required quality, in adherence to the Bank’s corporate values, risk management policies and service standards.

Branch Sales Executive

Job Description:

  • Provide sales and service support to the Banking Centre, e.g. preparing regular reports and letters

  • Promote and cross-sell consumer banking products

  • Handle general operations of the Banking Centre to ensure that regulatory compliance and the Bank’s policies are strictly adhered

  • Perform quality administrative support to the manager

Requirements:

  • 5 subjects at Grade E / Level 2 or above in HKCEE / HKDSE, including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consumer banking

  • Self-driven and service-oriented

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure

  • Possess HKSI and HKFI qualifications

  • Excellent command of MS word & Excel

  • Good spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin 

Vice President, Credit Policies - Risk Management

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, review and update the Bank’s credit policies, procedures and guidelines in line with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as the Group’s standard

  • Review and update the new guidelines / regulations / policies released by the regulatory bodies and Head Office applicable to the Bank’s credit risk management

  • Handle regular/ad-hoc reporting and bank-wide projects

  • Coordinate responses and follow-up actions of the findings/recommendations by the auditors and regulatory bodies and conduct policy amendments related to credit risk management

Requirements:

  • University degree holder

  • Minimum 8 years’ working experience in the banking industry

  • Good knowledge of general banking products, lending principles/credit approval process as well as awareness of credit risk issues

  • Experience / keen interest in formulating credit policies

  • Proactive, detailed-oriented, good analytical and communication skills

  • Multi-tasked and able to work under tight timelines

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua is a must)
