Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited (ASTRI) was set up by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2000 with the mission of enhancing Hong Kong’s competitiveness in technology-based industries through applied research. Our R&D strategic focus covers five areas of applications: Financial Technologies, Intelligent Manufacturing, Health Technologies, Smart City, and Application Specific Integrated Circuits through our mandate as the Hong Kong branch of the Chinese National Engineering Research Centre (CNERC).
ASTRI’s core R&D competence in various areas is organised under seven Technology Divisions: Mixed Signal Systems IC, Advanced Digital Systems, Electronics Components, Intelligent Sensing Technology System, Intelligent Software and Systems, Security and Data Sciences, and Communications Technologies.
Owing to the continuous expansion in our R&D activities, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Senior Manager, Mixed Signal IC Design
Manage and oversee multiple projects, including resource management and distribution; communicating with customers and ensuring project milestones and deliverables on schedule; and providing design review report, progress and final report;
New project planning, help director to prepare proposal and presentation file, develop business and securing industry contribution;
Open new research direction in analog IC design, including ADC, PLL, and high speed interface IC design such as LVDS/MIPI.
Ph D holder or Master degree in Electronic Engineering or relevant disciplines with minimum 6 years of related experience. Candidate with less experience may also be considered;
Strong experience in project management such as design review, quality control, IC specification and resource allocation will be a plus;
Strong background in analog IC design such as ADC, PLL and PMU will be a plus;
Experience in high speed interface such as LVDS/MIPI/eMMC will be a plus;
Good communication and interpersonal skills, a good team work player;

Assistant Manager, Accounting
Assist in monitoring the accounts payable function of RS.
Handle financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting and various reporting functions.
Support in preparing the group consolidation accounts.
Assist in preparation of year end audit schedules.
Assist in tax filing, budgetary control, resources planning and financial analysis.
Support the Government annual resources allocation exercises.
Implement internal control policies and procedures in accordance with both statutory and Government funding requirements.
Assist in upgrading the accounting systems.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualified Accountant with degree in Accounting or related discipline.
At least 4 years relevant experience in sizable organizations, preferably in public sector, Big 4 audit experience is a definite advantage.
Attentive to meticulous rules and regulations.
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
Self-initiative and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Hands-on experience with Cognos TM1 preferred
Knowledge in FLEX accounting system is an advantage.
Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
