Senior Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Assistant Sales Manager – Online & Travel Solutions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor accounts revenue and business productions for T/T and wholesale accounts

  • Attend major travel functions and promotional events (i.e. trade shows) and promote sales (rooms, catering, and other facilities and services) for the Hotel

  • Plan sales trips and calls on accounts within the specific market areas

  • Review direct competition and conduct regular research

  • Maintain a high level of exposure for the Hotel in major market areas through direct sales, telephone and written communications

  • Participate in ad-hoc duties as assigned

PREPEQUISITES:

  • Degree holder in Hospitality Management or related major/field

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in hotel room sales

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong leadership skills

  • Strong customer development and relationship management skills

Assistant Director of Sales – Online & Travel Solutions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct all sales activities, motivate and train T/T sales team to ensure their best performance

  • Establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in maintaining the accounts management system

  • Develop and maintain Potential Clients Database for all familiarisation groups

  • Closely monitor accounts revenue and business production for T/T and wholesale accounts

  • Plan and execute sales trips to major market areas and report to the Director of Sales & Marketing on new potential markets that should be covered

  • Review competitions and analyse market changes. Under the direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing, implement proactive programs with the T/T sales managers to meet these changes, i.e.  political, economic or competitive changes in the market place

  • Assist in preparing marketing plan and actively participate in achieving the marketing budget

  • Participate in ad-hoc duties as assigned

PREPEQUISITES:

  • Degree holder in Hospitality Management or related major/field.

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in hotel room sales.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong leadership skills.

Sales Co-Ordinator – Corporate & MICE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist all sales action plans related to the market area as outlined in marketing plan

  • Establish and maintain files on major active accounts

  • Provide feedback to the Sales & Marketing team on market environment

  • Handle all incoming/out-going telephone and email enquiries

  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned

PREPEQUISITES:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Hospitality Management or related major/field

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in hospitality industry preferred

Marketing & Communication Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise research and collection of potential lead sources for all categories of business: corporate, tour, meetings and conventions as well as catering business.  Qualifies leads with respect to rotation pattern as they relate to type of business involved.

  • Review and maintain all market research sources such as journal clippings, trade publications, convention calendars, association directories, etc.

  • Assist the Director of Communications in updating information contained in the Marketing Plan and Director of Sales & Marketing Manual.

PREPEQUISITES:

  • Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). Native Putonghua proficiency preferred.

  • Computer literate and well-versed in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Hands-on experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and multi-media creative software highly preferred

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Digital Media Hotel Management, Business Translation or related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years of related working experience

Assistant Head Waiter / Waitress

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PREPEQUISITES:

  • 3 years relevant work experience in the same capacity

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for coffee making and fast food preparation and serving to our clients at PitStop at the Hotel

  • Serve our clients with courteous and professional communication skills

PREPEQUISITES:

  • Minimum 1 year work experience in Food & Beverage operations

  • Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English

  • Shift duty is required

Captain

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and assist waiters/ waitresses in food servicing

  • Be familiar with the menu items and make recommendations to guests

  • Supervise and check the station and table settings

PREPEQUISITES:

  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in F&B industry

  • Presentable, enthusiastic and motivated

Head Host / Hostess

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Manager on daily reservation Team

  • To lead by example and provide a warm, personalized service to our customers by engaging with them and by adhering to Food and Beverage standards and in line all times.

  • Ensure that our guests are comfortable and welcome in a personable manner.

  • Handle restaurant reservations and table allocation, and present menus. Assist guest with table reservation and seating and ensure guests are served within specified time.

PREPEQUISITES:

  • At least 3 year of related experience in the hotel industry

  • Good command of spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese

  • Excellent communicator & outgoing personality

Head Waiter / Head Waitress

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with the hotel standards and documented Standard of Operating Procedures.

  • Actively make wine recommendations to members and guests at restaurants and banquet function.

  • Maintain wine serving equipment in good cleanliness and condition.

  • Oversee the seating set up arrangement, table set up, cutting and presentation of food.

PREPEQUISITES:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience with 2 years in a similar capacity

  • Open-minded, attentive to detail, adaptable, good communication skills and able to work under pressure

  • Self-motivated, responsible and have real passion in food and beverage service

  • Mature, independent and presentable

Host / Hostess

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform and manage reception duties

  • Manage reservations, greet guests cordially, plan table placements and escort customers to their tables
